Why the Action Purse?

What is the attraction of a bag made out of a towel and how did this come about?

Design History

If you are at this web site you probably know someone with an ACTIONPURSE or you saw it at the art fair. The action purse idea started because I am always on the go and no matter how many bags I tried, no matter the cost, they never could meet my needs. A functional purse should have the keys in easy reach without a danger of them getting lost or damaged under other items. My phone should also be easy to grab and protected. All other items should be easy to locate without causing damage. The handle should be comfortable and easy to grab in a hurry. I never make a double strap because I find those annoying. In the beginning I made the purse as a holster style which worked well but then I made one out of a pretty fabric and decided that it should also be able to convert easily to a back pack. I wanted something thicker around my stuff so I tried a fake fur which was fun but not too summery. Then I thought about terry cloth and have stuck with that ever since. Each ActionPurse has the easy reach in phone section, the key hooks, and pockets for the lip gloss, wallet, and more. Many of them can easily fit your sweater stuffed inside, or even your lunch. Some double as a nice place to set your cold drink just for fun. Some have the ability to switch to a back pack while keeping easy access. No need to remove the purse to grab your phone! Contact me for the current available styles. Each bag is hand sculpted and designed first for function and then for beauty. If you have a favorite beach towel and would love it made into a bag, just let me know some of your preferences and let go of the reigns. Pair this with the wearable key chain and you are ready to travel anywhere! Text or Leave a message anytime at 520-975-3709 for fastest response. I love suggestions and sharing new ideas.
